ViON Selected to Provide Cloud Services to U.S. Army through ACCENT

HERNDON, Va. – March 28, 2017 – ViON Corporation, a market leader in the design, delivery and support of mission-critical IT infrastructure solutions, announced today it was awarded a Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) for commercial cloud solutions, ITaaS, cloud hosting, cloud migration support and IT modernization from the U.S. Army under its Army Cloud Computing Enterprise Transformation (ACCENT) program. The ACCENT BOA is valid for a three-year ordering period with a contract maximum of $248.7 million and will be the Army’s preferred source used by all Army commands and organizations requiring commercial cloud services.

ACCENT provides an Army contract vehicle to procure technical support for transition of Army enterprise systems/applications migrating to a commercial cloud environment or an Army Enterprise Hosting Facility (AEHF). It also supports the Army Data Center Consolidation Plan (ADCCP) modernization and migration needs.
