 ViON Corporation Named Small Business OEM Prime Contractor on $20B NITAAC Chief Information Officer –
Commodity Solutions (CIO-CS) Contract

 

HERNDON, Va. – May 14, 2015 – ViON Corporation, a market leader in the design, delivery and maintenance of mission critical IT infrastructure solutions, today announced that The National Institutes of Health Information Technology Acquisition and Assessment Center (NITAAC) has named ViON as a Prime Contractor on the Chief Information Officer – Commodities Solutions (CIO-CS) Government-Wide Acquisitions Contract (GWAC). Under CIO-CS, ViON will provide federal agencies with Cloud offerings and capabilities as well as general IT products and services to promote health and life sciences. The CIO-CS GWAC is a ten (10) year Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with an estimated value of $20 billion. ViON is the only CIO-CS small business OEM awardee.

CIO-CS replaces NIH’s Electronic Commodities Store ECS III GWAC and is designed to help federal agencies, particularly those involved in healthcare and clinical and biological research, to quickly and affordably access state of the art technology solutions.

Under this contract, ViON will also manage processes that deliver NITAAC service solutions to CIO-CS customers.
