Wendy Rufo is ViON Corporation’s Human Resources Director and Facility Security Officer (FSO). Wendy has been performing in Human Resources policy and procedure, employee advocacy, benefits administration and management within government contracting for over 20 years and supporting Industrial Security for more than 15 years. Wendy is most passionate about mentoring; subordinates, employees, HR professionals, as well as FSO’s in the industry. Prior to joining ViON, Wendy was the Contract Special Security Officer at CA (now Broadcom) and worked to bring their Industrial Security program into NISP compliance, after CA acquired Base Technologies.
At Base Technologies, Wendy served as the Vice President of Human Resources and Facility Security Officer. There she grew the HR department; company polices, benefits and best practices for the organization. She also created and grew the company’s first Industrial Security program.
Wendy is a member of area Industrial Security Council’s and Society for Human Resource Management.
