Freeman will host a session from 10:45 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Troy Marriott entitled, “Extreme Collaboration between State Government and Industry: It’s Time to Stop Dating and Get Married.” The session will focus on the important relationship between industry and government and the next generation of information sharing across sectors to solve the challenges of the cyber domain. Freeman will also participate in a conversation panel on March 8 from 9:15 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. on “Removing Roadblocks So Industry and Government Can Be More Agile.”
“Technology is always a focus in cybersecurity, however successful outcomes are also dependent on the people and processes that support that technology,” explained Freeman. “When we take down the walls between public and private sector to develop a cross-functional approach to cyber defense, we can innovate together and more efficiently and effectively meet these challenges head-on.”
