ViON Wins NASA SEWP V Contract Award
In a Joint Venture, ViON Will Join Three Other Providers in a
Procurement Vehicle that Could Last 10 Years and be Worth $20 Billion
HERNDON, Va. – March 31, 2015 – ViON Corporation, a market leader in the design, delivery and maintenance of mission critical IT infrastructure solutions, today announced that it is one of four companies in a joint venture (SEWP Solutions LLC) that has been awarded a NASA Solutions for Enterprise-Wide Procurement (SEWP) V contract in the Computer Based Systems Group A. In addition to ViON, the companies in SEWP Solutions LLC are InfoReliance, Premier Systems Ltd and SwishData. The Government-Wide Acquisition Contract (GWAC) is for 10 years with a five-year base period and a five-year option to extend. The maximum amount of services or products that may be ordered is $20 billion.
The principle purpose of the SEWP V is to provide state-of-the-art information technology (IT) and computer technologies, high-end scientific and engineering processing capabilities, network equipment and peripherals. As part of the SEWP Solutions joint venture, ViON will play a central role in providing advanced, highly secure enterprise-class IT infrastructure and converged services to all NASA centers, all Federal agencies and their contractors.
