The model NSC55 fills a critical gap in midrange tiered storage for small- and midsized companies, supporting Application Optimized Storage™ solutions from Hitachi Data Systems that address both mainframe and open systems requirements. Via Hitachi Storage Management software, the NSC55 and multiple attached heterogeneous storage systems can be managed as a common pool, further reducing cost and complexity.

Hitachi TagmaStore ™ Adaptable Modular Storage model AMS200 is a high-availability, high-performance system that is especially cost-efficient in tiered storage configurations in enterprise infrastructures. It equips Application Optimized Storage™ solutions from Hitachi Data Systems with many of the enterprise-level benefits of the Hitachi TagmaStore ™ Universal Storage Platform and Network Storage Controller in a smaller, modular footprint for SMBs.

The model AMS200's SATA and Fibre Channel hard disk drive intermix enables IT strategists to move workloads to the most economical storage system; cache partitioning lets them efficiently allot cache to specific applications, optimizing each application's performance.

Hitachi TagmaStore™ Adaptable Modular Storage model AMS500 is the scalable, cost-effective, enterprise-class system for small- and midsized businesses. Thoroughly capable of meeting the big-company challenges of escalating data growth, regulatory compliance, and complex storage infrastructures, the model AMS500 supports Microsoft Exchange Server and other business applications, tiered and standalone storage, consolidation, first SAN deployment, backup, and data archiving.

The model AMS500 supports application-specific performance, availability, and protection across systems-from a few terabytes to more than 88TB-with both Serial ATA (SATA) and Fibre Channel drives. It offers advanced features, including Cache Partition Manager and RAID-6, to help improve performance, reliability, and usability.

The all-SATA Hitachi TagmaStore™ Workgroup Modular Storage model WMS100 supports Microsoft Exchange and other business applications, consolidation, first SAN deployment, NAS access, backup, and data archiving for small- to midsized companies. Scaling to 42TB SATA storage to keep up with data growth, the model WMS100 delivers availability and performance supported by hot-swap components to ensure more uptime and fewer outages. Managed and configured easily by using Hitachi HiCommand ® Storage Services Manager software or an integrated third-party product, the model WMS100 includes HDD roaming and RAID-6 features to significantly reduce parity group rebuild times in the rare event of an HDD failure.
