With more than 20 years of experience in the IBM type systems marketplace, ViON is pleased to announce the availability of the IBM pSeries family of Open Systems work stations and servers. Operating on IBMs world-class AIX version of UNIX System V, these systems range, with complete binary compatibility, from-single user desktop graphics workstations to Massively Parallel supercomputers.

UNIX cluster systems

Scalable, high-performance clusters, such as the IBM Cluster 1600 and IBM RS/6000 SP system, are ideal for high-performance parallel computing, large-scale database applications and workload/server consolidation.

UNIX Workstations

Intellistation POWER and RS/6000 UNIX workstations have the computational horsepower to perform demanding technical simulations requiring high-speed floating-point performance. The addition of powerful graphics accelerators allow the processing of large, complex 3D designs of automobiles and aircraft. These workstations also offer value and power for application development, 2D drafting and entry 3D design.
