Connectivity Technologies (ConTech)

Connectivity Technologies’ heritage was as a value added manufacturer and installer of ESCON channel cabling and cable management products. The product line has been expanded to meet customer needs and now consists of ESCON, FICON, and Fibre cables. It includes patch cords, trunk cables, patch panels, cabinets, and fiber optic conveyance tray systems. We offer the broadest line cabling configurations to provide a structured cabling path between Servers, Directors/Switches, Storage, Tape, and other end devices.

ConTech’s extensive expertise and knowledge of Mainframe environments has provided the base for the design of current and future product plans. The continued involvement in the planning and developing of methods and standards within the “physical layer” community ensures ConTech’s best-of-breed status.

ConTech is a member of BICSI and The Association for Data Center Network and Enterprise Management (AFCOM), and adheres to the methods, standards, and policies of BICSI, AFCOM, the EIA/TIA, NEC, and local & state governing bodies. ConTech introduced the MP (massively parallel) product line, the next generation of ESCON connectivity. The MP product line features a twelve fiber ribbon array connector which provides a universal point of connectivity.

ConTech combines the best quality products in the data and telecommunications marketplace with an expertise in value added services to achieve a total system for the client that continues past the initial design and final installation phase. This process forms a strategic alliance that continues for all future moves, additions, and changes. We provide all aspects required to implement local and wide area networks to include consulting, design, software implementation, hardware installation, cabling, documentation, training, and the provision of a comprehensive maintenance agreement.
