The PRIMEQUEST 480 server line deploys up to 32 Intel® Itanium® 2 Processors in a compact chassis hosting a wide range of integrated services, making it easy to deploy and operate. Hosting up to four partitions running Red Hat, Novell SUSE Linux, or Microsoft Windows Server™ Enterprise Edition/Datacenter Edition, the PRIMEQUEST server provides a flexible platform that can accommodate the most demanding application requirements. With System Mirror Mode operations, memory and crossbar resources can be mirrored on a partition by partition basis, providing fault immunity to the hosted operating system and application. The Flexible I/O subsystem can be configured separately from CPUs and memory insuring balanced systems to support a variety of application needs..
