Tom Frana, President
Tom Frana became President of ViON in 1992. With 30 years of experience in information technology, 24 of them working in a vendor environment, he's well qualified to lead a company that is dedicated to providing information solutions to federal, state and local government.
Mr. Frana's experience covers every aspect of systems engineering and general management. He has performed in senior executive posts for Hitachi Data Systems in Europe and the Asia/Pacific region, and served as General Manager of U.S. Operations.
Mr. Frana spent three years in the U.S. Marine Corps and has a Liberal Arts degree from Kendall College in Evanston, Illinois.
Philip J. Rouse II, Vice President of Finance and Administration
Philip Rouse combines his leadership of ViON’s Finance and Administration department with additional roles as Treasurer and Secretary. He is also a valued member of our Board of Directors.
A Certified Public Accountant, Mr. Rouse also holds an MBA degree from George Mason University in Virginia.
Michael R. Jones, Vice President of Business Development
Michael Jones’ experience in computing solutions goes back to 1975. On leaving the U.S. Marine Corps, he joined IBM Corporation as a computer-marketing representative. Four years later, in 1979, he joined ITEL Corporation in Washington DC just as it became ViON. Mr. Jones has continued to build on his experience in direct sales and sales/channel management in his current role, heading up Business Development for ViON.
Mr. Jones holds a BS degree in Economics from the University of Maryland.
Douglas N. Moore, Executive Vice President
Douglas Moore brings many years of hands-on sales and management experience in the computer industry to his current role as head of ViON’s federal and public-sector marketing representatives.
Mr. Moore holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Colgate University and a Master of Science degree from American University.
