Tom Frana - President and CEO
Mr. Tom Frana brings over 40 years of experience in both the information technology and vendor industries to his leadership role at ViON. He joined the company in 1992 after holding various senior-level positions on several continents including Europe and Asia. Mr. Frana’s rich, diverse background in systems engineering, sales, marketing, customer service and general management has served him well in meeting the expansive needs of ViON’s federal, public sector and commercial customers. Mr. Frana, a former Marine, graduated with a Liberal Arts degree from Kendall College, Evanston, IL. He is a proud member of the AFCEA Executive Committee, a Founding Member of the U.S. Marine Corps Museum, an Advisory Council Member DFW USO, as well as the Chairman of the Board at St. John's College High School in Washington, DC.
Michael R. Jones - Vice President, Corporate Development
Mr. Michael Jones is a former member of the U.S. Marine Corps with over 38 years of experience in computing solutions. Since 1980, he has been using his vast knowledge to head up Corporate Development at ViON. Today, he is actively involved in strategic planning and facilitating strong supplier relationships. Mr. Jones is a member of Vistage, a worldwide organization that brings together key executives to provide insight on best business practices. He is also Chairman of the Board of Trustees of San Miguel School, a middle school for underprivileged Latino boys. He holds a BS degree in Economics from the University of Maryland.
Jim Davidson - Senior Vice President, Operations
Mr. Jim Davidson is responsible for ViON’s Operational Functions; including Sales, Product Management, Support, and Professional Services. In this role, he directs the sales and business efforts of the company and is responsible for ensuring all aspects of its success. He came to ViON with over 35 years experience in sales and management. Prior to joining the team, Mr. Davidson was President of Nueterra Equities Partners where for five years he directed the Sales and Marketing of this medical IT business from startup to profitability. Mr. Davidson also held a 16-year career with Hitachi Data Systems where he started as an Account Manager and rose to various senior-level management positions including EVP- Americas, and EVP of Global Marketing. He received both his Bachelor of Arts in English and Masters of Education from the University of Missouri.
John Lubratich - Vice President of Finance and CFO
Mr. John Lubratich is a seasoned financial executive who brings a wide range of notable experience to his role as Vice President of Finance and CFO at ViON. In addition to receiving his MBA from California State University, he is an accomplished CPA who has worked for Touche Ross. Prior to ViON, Mr. Lubratich was employed by Hitachi Data Systems where he spent the last seven years serving as Vice President of Finance and Shared Services for the Americas. He has held a number of other positions at Hitachi, as well as the Clorox Company, and National Semiconductor. Having been a lifelong resident of the San Francisco Bay Area, Mr. Lubratich recently relocated to Las Vegas.
Steven Picot - Vice President, Federal Sales
As Vice President of Federal Sales, Mr. Steven Picot leads ViON’s strategic initiatives and customer relationships with the Defense, Intelligence, and Civilian Agency communities. Before joining the team in 2013, Mr. Picot was an eight-plus year veteran of Cisco Systems, Inc. where he was the Director of Operations leading the team and holding global responsibility for the sales, engineering, and customer support aspects of Cisco's largest customers, including the United States Army and the Joint Special Operating Forces. He also served as a Director with McData (Brocade) in sales and sales management, and held sales and field engineering roles with SAS Institute. Before establishing his career in sales, Mr. Picot served as a Captain in the U.S. Marine Corps. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Purchase College, The State University of New York, and a Masters of Business Administration degree from the University of Phoenix.
Daniel Diltz - Vice President, Public Sector
Mr. Daniel Diltz is responsible for ViON’s Public Sector and Commercial Client business, with coverage across North America. In addition to his Sales, Sales Operations, and Business Development responsibilities, Mr. Diltz assists Public Sector and Commercial Clients crafting viable acquisition and provisioning strategies within the evolving economic and business conditions. Prior to joining ViON, Mr. Diltz was Vice President of NEC’s Advanced Storage & IT Platform Groups, and also served as Deputy Sales General Manager and President and Chairman of the Board of Hitachi Data Systems Credit Corporation. Mr. Diltz holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science from the University of Nebraska, Engineering College and a MBA from the College of Business Administration at Creighton University.
Rob Davies - Vice President of ViON on Demand
Mr Rob Davies is ViON’s Vice President of Capacity Services and has 20 years of experience supporting Federal and commercial business in information technology. He recently served as Vice President of U.S. Public Sector Services for CA Technologies, as well as Chief Executive Officer and President at Base Technologies. When CA acquired Base in early 2011, Mr. Davies played the lead role in structuring, negotiating, and finalizing the acquisition. At CA, Mr. Davies ran all public sector services, leading the integration of the Base Technologies business. In his leadership at Base, he was directly responsible for driving annual revenue and was involved in every facet of the company, from business development to corporate management. Prior to that, he acted as BaseTech’s Chief Operating Officer, managing day-to-day operations and directing large enterprise environments and providing support for international and domestic programs. Mr. Davies earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Michigan and his Master of Arts in International Economics and Law from the American University. He was recently named as a finalist in the 2012 GOVstar SmartCEO awards.
Michael Wooten - Vice President, Customer Operations
With over 20 years of experience in enterprise IT, Mr. Mike Wooten leads ViON’s professional services, consulting, managed services and customer support organizations. His responsibilities include execution of services and support, ensuring a great customer experience, overall strategic direction, solution support strategy, services development and integration. Prior to joining ViON, Mr. Wooten led Hitachi Data Systems’ service and support efforts at a U.S. based Fortune 100 telecom. He later became the Director of global support operations at Hitachi Data Systems and was responsible for solution services and support of their entire product catalog. He is a graduate of the UNC Kenan-Flager Business School’s Executive Development Institute and the GAP International’s Executive Management program.
Carl T. Fulp - Vice President and Chief Technology Officer
Mr. Carl Fulp has nearly three decades of service at ViON and is responsible for ViON’s solution, product and services strategies and portfolios. As CTO and Vice President of Product management, Mr. Fulp has built a team of industry leading solution experts and top of class engineers. Under Carl’s leadership, this core team drives the creation of the very best in enterprise class solutions with a focus on delivering unsurpassed value to ViON’s customers. Before becoming Chief Technology Officer, Mr. Fulp was Vice President of Engineering and Services. While in that role, he designed, sold, and implemented solutions for the company’s largest customers. Prior to his extensive years of work and dedication at ViON, Mr. Fulp held a position at the Defense Intelligence Agency installing and maintaining solutions for Intelligence Analysts. He also served ten years in the United States Air Force designing and implementing information systems for the United States Air Forces - Europe and for the Defense Intelligence Agency. Mr. Fulp studied Computer Science at the University of Maryland, attended UNC’s Kenan-Flagler Business School for executive development, and completed three years of executive training with Gap International.
Liz Anthony - Vice President, Marketing
Ms. Liz Anthony is ViON’s Vice President of Marketing and has over 20 years of experience implementing marketing plans and strategic communications programs across the globe. Prior to joining ViON, Ms. Anthony served as Senior Manager at Cisco and NetApp, where she was responsible for the U.S. Public Sector strategy and developing integrated programs with key partners. While at NetApp, Ms. Anthony managed sales enablement for SAP globally. Having owned her own marketing consultant organization for over 16 years, Ms. Anthony is a passionate, long-time advocate of women in business. She is a proud member and former board member of Women In Technology, serving as a Board Consultant and Communications Chairperson, and is also a member of the AFCEA.
Roseanne Cinnamond - Vice President, Industry Relations
Ms. Roseanne Cinnamond is Vice President of Industry Relations for ViON. As such, Ms. Cinnamond serves as ViON’s principal liaison to industry groups, trade associations, and federal, state, and local advisory organizations. Ms. Cinnamond’s role is to foster effective communication among ViON, government, and industry, as well as to build and maintain high-level contacts with prospective customers and business partners. Before assuming her current position, she served as ViON’s Vice President of Marketing and Proposals, overseeing the production of as many as 200 proposals annually, and managing the marketing and branding for ViON. She is currently active in such groups as the American Council for Technology/Industry Advisory Council (ACT/IAC), the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA), and the National Association of State Chief Information Officers (NASCIO). Ms. Cinnamond has also been recognized twice for “Superior Support and Contribution” by the Information Processing Interagency Conference (IPIC). Prior to joining ViON in 1985, she taught history and served as department chairperson for several high schools in Washington, D.C. Ms. Cinnamond is a native of New Jersey, and is a cum laude graduate of The Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C. She enjoys golfing, reading and especially traveling, having vacationed in all 50 of the United States. She is active in her community and volunteers for several nonprofit organizations.
